Holiday Balance 12:12</div>

As the year comes to a close in the holiday bliss (or some
may say chaos), I would like to celebrate the balance of 12:12. This is a place in which new beginnings can
launch and we can rejoice in all the experiences gained through the year, some
good, and some bad... a balance. </div>

Think of how many things we try and balance. <span style="background: white;">Balancing the bank balance, balancing
the food and beverage intake, balancing rest and activity, balancing the
emotions, balance work and home, balance of giving and receiving … balancing in
every way</span>. The very essence of the word shows us the polarity of our
minds because as we strive for balance, we compare and offset the value of one
thing or another. So how can we truly ever achieve balance with our minds
operating in this comparative, judgemental way?<o:p></o:p></div>

act” began when we were wee tiny beings, in fetal life in fact, as we
physiologically balanced our existence with our inner environment. We are geniuses
created for balance... let’s figure out how to have balance be our experience.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

School is in and fall weather is creeping in on us and with
that comes our annual flu season. It’s a
touchy subject these days with all of the fear mongering that goes along with
the vaccination protocols. If you do
some research in to the science of the flu vaccine you will soon come to
realize that most of the research is funded by the vaccine companies
themselves. They have a vested interest
in proving that their product works, so how much data do they get rid of to
make the statistics look how they want them?
The advertising is incredible with its fear tactics as well “Don’t miss
work this flu season. Get a flu
shot.” Is the flu shot a guarantee that
you will not get the flu? Flu vaccines
are developed using last year’s strains of the flu, so that isn’t taking into
consideration any new strains that developed.</div>

The opposition to the flu vaccine is equally as fear based
with titles like “Mercury in flu vaccines linked to Autism”. The entire vaccination program uses a number
of different heavy metals as carrier for the vaccines, not just the flu vaccine. There are several side effects publicized,
but does anyone take the time to research the ingredients, side effects, how
long the vaccination has been on the market, if there have been independent, randomized,
double-blinded, placebo controlled studies conducted? Or do we all go with the 100<sup>th</sup>
monkey effect, where one person has an idea, it is accepted by many and all of
a sudden the masses follow suit and everyone MUST have the flu vaccine?</div>

<div class="MsoNormal">
I encourage each and every person to conduct their own
research and make an educated decision for themselves and their family as to
what the right decision is for them…. To vaccinate or not vaccinate? I believe what it all boils down to is fear,
and how to live with the least amount of fear and be confident in what
decisions you make. If you decide to get
the flu vaccine and are terrified that you are already genetically predisposed
to Alzheimer’s and allowing more heavy metals into your system will manifest the
disease faster or tip the scale so you certainly get the disease… perhaps the
vaccine is not for you! On the other
hand if that decision is going to confine you to your home, eliminate your
social abilities or prevent you from going to work, watching you kids or
grandkids at the rink or going to the grocery store during flu season….perhaps
you might have a better life experience by getting the vaccine!</div>

We need to be our own health advocates and stop allowing
others to dictate how we live our lives.
We are all unique, with different fears and as such we will all have
different ways of keeping ourselves and others healthy. Some of us may choose to exercise our immune
systems more than others, just like some choose to exercise their
cardiovascular systems more than others.
If you get the vaccine, you should be protected from those that don’t
(assuming the vaccines work). If you
don’t get the vaccine, trust that those that do are doing what’s right for
them. Who are we to judge what the right
thing is for someone else? Get in touch
with that inner voice or gut instinct; it will not lead you down the wrong
path. Following someone else’s will.</div>

how much are you living? Our daily
stresses keep building up, our health is compromised – physically, mentally,
emotionally and spiritually we are stifled.
Where is the release/relief button?
Believe it or not, it begins with our breath.</span></div>

<span style="color: white;">Breathing creates movement as we inhale and exhale, our
whole body moves in synchronicity with that movement. This helps with the circulation of all fluids
including blood, lymph and cerebrospinal fluid all of which help nourish and
cleanse the vital body. Fluids flowing
against gravity are assisted with movement.
This movement also allows the connective tissue throughout the body to
release stored emotions and rigid beliefs, keeping the body supple and
flexible. Imagine a workout and a
massage for our organs, just utilizing the breathing cycle!</span></div>

<span style="color: white;">In the Traditional Chinese Medicine perspective, breathing
affects Qi (energy) flow. The energy
that builds in the lungs, collected from the air and the food energy sent up to
the lungs from the digestive system, which is circulated to all of the
meridians via the lung meridian. The
more powerful the breathing cycle, the more powerful the flow of energy is
throughout the body.</span></div>

<span style="color: white;">As each breath is taken, the brain scans all the different
frequencies of the body. Our denser
frequencies are all the things we can touch, bones, blood, muscles etc. Our higher frequencies are the Chakras,
meridians, emotions, thoughts etc. On an
inhalation the scan is from lowest to highest frequencies and is reversed on
the exhalation. During this scan
information is gathered and the central nervous system then deploys the
resources needed to maintain a healthy balance in the body, based on the perceived
needs from the scan. So if the breath is
restricted, information will not be properly gathered and the nervous system
does not have all the information to make accurate decisions on where the
resources are most needed and areas of the body without a proper scan get left
out of the balanced equation of health.
If these un-scanned items are chronically missed, symptoms begin to
appear in the body. This is the body’s
cry for attention, if the cry in unattended to it becomes a scream in a place
that perhaps it can get your attention.
Would you ever deny a neglected child the attention or survival
resources it needs? No…Then why would we
neglect our body’s cry for attention that could prevent further destruction and
disease? Beginning with our breath and
allowing our body’s need to be heard, it doesn’t get any easier than that!</span></div>

<span style="color: white;">Typically, an inability to breathe in results in emotional
and mental disturbances and an inability to exhale results in chronic pain such
as arthritis. Simply fully inhaling, getting in touch with life and all it has
to offer, fully exhaling and letting go of all the burdens we cling to, is a
powerful way to become responsible for your own health and listen to what your
body has to say. </span></div>
